Howard Morris Haney, 59, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012.

Born in Denton, Texas on December 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Noel Francis Haney and Gerald Ray Haney.

Mr. Haney attended Montgomery College and was a mortgage loan officer. He was also a certified gemologist, an accomplished musician, who played with popular bands in the Metro DC area, and a radio deejay. A talented artist, his paintings were exhibited at Strathmore Arts Center.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Perry Haney and son, Jay Bradley.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
