Adam Santos Capriotti, Jr., 90, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Hospice of the Panhandle inpatient facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born on December 3, 1935, in Harpers Ferry, WV, he was the son of the late Adam Santos Capriotti, Sr. and Emelia Capriotti. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater.

Adam was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War, as a medic. He dearly loved to fly, and was a man of his faith. He was also very devoted to his family and friends, loving to make everyone laugh.

He is survived by, his loving wife of 28 years, Rose, at home; one daughter, Andrea Abbey; one granddaughter, Morganne Pierce; three great-grandchildren, Audrey, Max, Alma; one brother, Gene Capriotti; and nieces and nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Capriotti and Cesarina Wysong.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV.

Inurnment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James or the Wounded Warriors.
