Alaina Marie Via, 33, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her parents home in Charles Town, WV, after battling a long illness.

Born December 22, 1990 in Silver Spring, MD, she was the much loved daughter of Dale Robert Via and Brenda Kay Via of Charles Town, WV.

Alaina was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving brother, William Via of Charles Town, WV, his children, Bailee Via and Brantley Via, her doting maternal grandmother, Janet Lambert and numerous other relatives. She is also survived by her devoted loving boyfriend, Richard Nicewarner and his dear sister, Joenna Nicewarner (Alain's sister by choice) and Joenna'a sweet daughter, Shaelyn Stipes (the apple of Alaina's eye.)

Alaina was preceded in death and greeted into heaven by a host of grandparents, uncles and aunts.

Alaina's kind heart and giving spirit will be forever in our hearts and will be forever missed. Spread your wings and fly that painless flight, our angel.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Father Steve Stahley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 6-8 pm.
