Alice Elizabeth Riner, 69, of Harpers Ferry passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Shenandoah Health Village in Charles Town.
Born on May 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Effie Marsh.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne Riner and wife, Joyce, of Brunswick, MD, Larry Riner and wife, Gale, of Hedgesville, James Riner and wife, Kelly, of Harpers Ferry, Dale Riner and wife, Teresa, of Walkersville, MD; four grandsons, Raymond Riner and wife, Janet, Russell Riner and wife, Cassey, Richard Riner and wife, Jessica, and Dale Riner, Jr.; two granddaughters, Emily Anderson and husband, Chris, and Orlena Riner; one great-grandson, John C. Anderson III; and three great-granddaughters, Lillian Riner, Lindsay Riner and KateLynn Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Riner, in 2008.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Edge Hill Cemetery at Charles Town, WV.
Arrangements are by the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, US 340 at Halltown Road, Charles Town/Harpers Ferry, WV.
