Alisha Berry Best, " Lisha," 74, passed away unexpectedly on May 19th, 2022 at INOVA  Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA.  She was born on "leap year" February 29, 1948, in Charles Town, WV, the daughter of John E. Berry, Jr. and Irma Rideoutt Berry.

Alisha graduated from Charles Town Senior High School, Class of 1966.  Following graduation, she earned an Associates Degree from the School of Business in Washington, DC.  Alisha worked for the Federal Government for over 30 plus years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Linda " Sissy " Berry, and brother Keith " Timmy " Berry. Alisha's survivors are her two children, daughter Jeannine J. Robinson  of Stafford, VA and son, Kenneth E. Best, Jr. and his wife Kym of Winston-Salem, NC., four Grandchildren; Darren Robinson, Jr, Jeane' Robinson, Makenna Best, and Kenneth E. Best, IV, and one brother; John E. Berry, III of Charles Town, WV; and many devoted aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral services and a home going celebration will be held at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV at 11:00 am on Friday, June 10, 2022. The family will receive friends for a viewing and visitation one hour prior to the service.   Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
