Allen Newman, 69, of Charles Town, WV passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at his residence.

He was born October 12, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

Allen retired from the Frederick County Sheriffs Office in May 2020 with over 23 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by one daughter, Aaliyah Newman of Germantown, MD; one grandson, Isaiah Jackson, numerous extended family members, Jenny McCarthy, Darryl McCarthy, Diane McCarthy, Brittany McCarthy, Danielle McCarthy, and Kyla Bailey and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 19 years,  Linda McCarthy Newman.

Allen enjoyed spending time with his grandson, vacationing, golfing and outings with his friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with visitation one hour prior to the service.
