Amanda T. Painter, 48, of Kearneysville, WV, passed away on May 9, 2026, at home.

Born on September 7, 1977, in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of Nancy E. Painter.

Amanda worked cleaning houses. She loved making crafts, jewelry and collecting owls. She was loved by many people.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Nancy E. Painter; two special aunts, Lisa Painter, Sharon Painter; her life partner, Miguel Acosta; and lifetime friend, Didymus Tate.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Jimmy Bowlin, Jr.; her only son, Austin Painter; and grandparents, Stella and Charles Painter.

Services will be held on June 12, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
