Anna Katherine Grove, 79, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born December 16, 1941 in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. Howell and Anna Louise Longerbeam Howell.

She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of The Church of the First Born.

Anna adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren just like her children. She treated everyone the same. She was a wonderful cook and loved to gather the family and friends around her table.

She is survived by four daughters, Trudy Kirk and husband, Ernie of Harpers Ferry; Karen Smoot and husband, Wayne of Bakerton; April Maples and fiance', Randy Brackett of Charles Town and Robin Waters and husband, Kenneth of Harpers Ferry; four sons, James Grove and wife, Christine of Harpers Ferry; Dwayne Grove of Harpers Ferry, Mark Grove of  Harpers Ferry and Randall Grove of Harpers Ferry; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren two sisters, Dorothy Grove and Linda Howell, one brother, Terry Howell, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Ginger Grove and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved  husband of 63 years, Nelson, three daughters, Antionnette Everhart, Donna Everhart and Lisa Bond, one son, Donald Grove, one granddaughter, Christy Thorpe, one sister, Joyce Howell and two brothers, William and Raymond Howell.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Mike Lida officiating.

Interment will be in Silver Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8 pm.
