Audrey Virginia Grove, 77, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

Born June 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Harold Wilt and Audrey Virginia McDonald Wilt.

She was a member of Halltown Church of God and a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School, Class of 1966. She worked her entire life at Wilt's Fruit Market.

Audrey was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and absolutely adored her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Paul "Garney" Grove, at home, one son, Paul "PJ" Grove of Harpers Ferry, one granddaughter, Brooke Marshall and husband, Justin of Harpers Ferry, two great grandchildren, Elijah and Quentin, two sisters, Joyce Ketron and Alice Cook, two brothers, David and Jerry Wilt and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Retha "Sissy" Simmons and three brothers, Robert, Larry and Harold "Buster" Wilt.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Halltown Church of God with Pastor Ollie Baer officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Bolivar, WV.

Pallbearers will be Justin Marshall, Sean Spotts, Mark Grove, Dwayne Grove, Gary Musgrove and Frankie Tomlin.
