Barbara Mae Brady, 77, of Shepherdstown, WV passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her residence, under the care of Hospice.

Born October 23, 1941 in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Daniel Bartley and Virginia Alice Leeper Bartley.
She was a member of Blairton United Methodist Church.
Barbara retired from Verizon Telephone Book Distribution Center at the age of 70. She than became a caregiver for two individuals. She also owned and operated Blue Gray Realty in Halltown WV for several years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Carlton, at home; four daughters, Tresa Staubs and husband, David of Martinsburg, WV; Carla Crouse and companion, Albert Ainsworth of Shenandoah Junction; Crystal May and companion, Rickey Ott of Shepherdstown and Melinda Pine of Shepherdstown, seven grandchildren, Stacey Pierson, Melissa Cogan, Ashley Stevenson, Chad May, Keith Pine, Kevin Pine and Megan Pine, five great-grandchildren, Corbin Pierson, Valerie Stagner, Jordan Moats, Tristian Moats and Khloe Pine, three sisters, Susan Theodore and husband, Terry, Patty Cook and husband, J.R. and Cindia Beadling, eight brothers, Robert Bartley and wife, Peggy, Jimmy Bartley and wife, Susie, Tommy Bartley and wife, Robin, Michael Bartley, Rick Bartley and wife, Donna, Johnny Bartley and wife, Ginger, Sammy Bartley and wife, Sharon and Davy Bartley and wife, Karen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Patrick and Jack Bartley.
We were blessed with the most generous, kind and loving caregiver to many. Barbara enjoyed traveling with her daughter, sewing and loved to read a good romance novel.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Georgetta Breeden, Stacy Staubs, Jo Wynn, the Jefferson County Council of Aging and the Hospice of the Panhandle. She also enjoyed visits from two special cousins, Ellen and Helen.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Gary Gourley officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm.
