Barbara Ann Cook, 84, of Bolivar, WV passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her daughter's residence.

Born March 16, 1940 in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Aldridge Staubs and Mary Rodgers Staubs.

Barbara attended Bolivar Pentecostal Church. She was employed as a kindergarten aide for Jefferson County Schools with 10 years of service.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen D'Angelo and husband, Jeff of Bolivar, WV, Judy Hammock and husband, Jesse of Ranson, WV, one son, Clyde Cook, Jr. and wife, Alice of Bolivar, WV, four grandchildren, Brian Cook (Kim), Randy D'Angelo (Chris), Kevin D'Angelo (Morgan) and Brandy Fravel (Corey), four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kimiya and Blake Cook and Hudson Fravel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Clyde "Monty" Cook, Sr. in 2013, and two brothers, Paul "Soapy" Staubs and Kenny Staubs, Sr.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. B.G. Turner and Pastor Eric Harding officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
