Benjamin Patrick Anderson, 43, of Ranson, WV passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 in his home.

Born November 25, 1980 in Fairfax, VA, he was the son of Gregory Patrick Anderson and the late Patricia McMorrow.

Benjamin was a graduate of Herndon High School, and Shepherd University. He served 17 years with Charles Town Police Department attaining the rank of Sergeant.

He was the starting center at the Herdon under 12 select Basketball State champions. He was athletic throughout high school and college in both basketball and football.

He spent quality time with his nieces, nephews, friends, and was well loved by many colleagues and friends.

Benjamin is survived by father, Gregory Anderson of S. Portland, Maine; one sister, Elisabeth M. Arciathus Ricardo; four nieces and nephews, Victoria, Natalie, Enryque, Karina; and former wife, Evelyn Anderson.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Linda Taylor.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 6, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Jake Cordell and Reverend Doctor Brian Hotaling officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 5, 2024 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
