"Susie" Bernice A. Breeden, 77, of Purcellville, VA passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

Born May 29, 1943 in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Dearl Grove and Jessie Hawk Grove.

She was of the Christian faith.

Susie was very generous and always willing to lend a hand to everyone. She was a sweet and joyful conversationalist with a prize-winning smile and will be missed by so many people.

She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Wilson of Purcellville, VA and Shelton Breeden of Boonsboro, MD; two grandchildren, Robbie Wilson and Lillian Breeden; one brother, Paul "Garney" Grove, and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Wilson in 1966, her second husband, Herman Luther Breeden in 1995, two sisters, Eva Longerbeam and Lola Piper, five brothers, Dearl, Sherman, Gerald, Nelson and Marshall Grove.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 pm.
