Betty Ann Higgs, 68, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away December 16, 2021 at home.

Born January 5, 1953 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ortence and Jeanette Penwell Mills.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Penny Taylor and husband Jeff of Martinsburg; a son, James E. "Bunky"  Travis and wife Jennifer of Brunswick; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, James, Angel and Ashton; brother, Ronnie Mills; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Betty, was preceded in death by her companion, Alvin Randall Staubs and sister-in-law Wanda Mills.

Her favorite line was, "I love you more".

Services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2:30pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the services.
