Billy Dean Harrison, 70, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away December 1, 2021 at his residence.

Born October 31, 1951 in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late John Richard and Shirley Rosalee McGonagal Harrison.

He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town.

Billy was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy in which he served 16 years; he was member of Charles Town VFW Post #3522 and Charles Town Moose Lodge #948.  After retirement Billy thoroughly enjoyed life as a grandpa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Teresa "Terry" at home; daughters, Toni Long and husband Buck, Ann Kelican and husband Terry; son, Carlton Bush and wife J.B. all of Harpers Ferry; grandchildren, Teddie, Jordyn, Richie, Hanna, Curtis, Austin, Brady, Christian, Shiley, Kierstin and Brandon; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Marick and Beverly Hargrove; step-mother, Edna Harrison; In-laws, Cathy, Pat and Dennis Dougherty.

In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his son, Billy Dean Harrison II and his brother, John Harrison.

A funeral liturgy will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.  Officiating will be Deacon David Galvin.  Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
