Brenda Kay Waters' Obituary
Brenda Kay Waters, 62, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born September 22, 1954 in Hamilton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Reed and Gertrude Thompson Reed.
Brenda was a God-fearing woman, who loved the Lord. She loved reading her Bible, playing card games and going to yard sales. Most of all, she loved her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, James Waters, at home; two daughters, Terra Talton and Angel Talton; five sons, Christopher Talton, Jamie Waters, David Waters (Gwapes), Matthew Waters (Nunu) and Mark Waters (Her little boy); step-children, James Waters, and Joshua Waters, Heather Lancaster and Katie Hamilton; two brothers, Thomas Edward Reed II and Alton Presley Reed and ten grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Twyman.
Services will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Roland England officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bolivar, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm.
