Bruce "BJ" Allen Hodge, Jr., 43, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.

Born July 9, 1980 in Ranson, WV, he was the son of Bruce Allen Hodge, Sr. and Tana Lynn Tribby Hodge of Kearneysville, WV.

He attended Knoxville Church of God.

"BJ' enjoyed watching basketball on television. He was an avid Washington Commanders fan. He was an outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish and played video games. His baby was his Camero convertible. He was an especially loving and dedicated brother, son and friend. "BJ" was a running back for Jefferson when he was in high school.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Melissa Escobar and husband, Jose, two brothers, Donald Hodge, Sr. and companion, Kelyla Spicer and Steven Hodge and companion, Jessica Burns, maternal grandfather, Donald Ayres and wife, Gloria and many aunts, uncles and cousins that are like siblings.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Juanita and Charles Hodge and maternal grandmother, Mary Ayers and uncle, Robert "Buck" Hodge.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 6-8 pm.
