Calvin Richard Ring, 88, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born September 13, 1933 in Bakerton, WV, he was the son of the late Elsworth Lee Ring and Hattie Mae Henry Ring.

He was a member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church.

Calvin was a retired supervisor for Badger-Powhatan with over 30 years of service.

Calvin treasured his close friendship with Larry Hawk and Kevin Barnhouse.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Reba, at home; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, JoAnn Ring and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Terry, Gary and Richard Ring, two sisters, Virginia Hockensmith and Dorothy Tattersall and two brothers, Elsworth Lee Ring, Jr. and infant brother, Loring.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Rowley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Monday from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
