Candida Delmilagro Sanchez-Amaya, 56, wife of Walter Ponce, of Charles Town, WV passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at her residence.

Born November 29, 1968 in El Salvadore, she was the daughter of Luis Alonso Sanchez and Maria Santos Amaya.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Manny as the Celebrant.

Following the Mass, Candida will return to Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV for a viewing and visitation until 8:00 pm.

Graveside service and Interment will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May, 3, 2025 at Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, VA
