Carla Coomler, 67, of Charles Town, WV passed away November 5, 2026 at the Veterans Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

She was born June 12, 1959 in Warsaw, IN and was the daughter of the late Paul Coomler and Regina Haley Coomler.

Carla was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1977. She served in the US Army as a Chaplain’s assistant in 1979 and was honorably discharged in 1982.

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed creating her artwork and paintings.

Carla was previously married to Jeffery Lanham and later married Roberto Dazzi.

She leaves behind four children, Jonathan, Alexa, Benjamin, and Adriano, four grandchildren and four siblings, Sheila, Paula, Kevin and Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Timothy Grassi as the Celebrant and Deacon David Galvin assisting. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Monday, November 9, 2026 from 6-8 pm with a vigil and Rosary at 7:30 pm.
