CARLY E. JACKSON, age 17, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at her residence in Westerville, OH.
She was born February 6, 1987 in Roseville, California. She was the third child of Paul and Brenda Jackson.
She was a twelfth grade student at Westerville North High School, Westerville, Ohio, where she was a member of the Young Life Organization and Link New Students on Campus Organization.
Carly was known for her bubbly personality, out-going spirit and willingness to help others. She knew no strangers and had no enemies. She was a "social butterfly" and loved by all.
She is survived by her parents Paul R. Jackson, Sr. and Brenda C. Jackson of Westerville, OH; brothers, Paul Jackson, Jr. of Washington, DC and Daniel Jackson of Huntington, WV; sisters, Bonita (Derrick) Mosley of Morgantown, WV and Michelle Brown of Dallas, TX; two nephews, RaShaun Lynch and Matthew Mosley of Morgantown, WV; Aunt Cathryn (Elbert) Norton of Capitol Heights, MD, Aunt Margaret Smelley of Clinton, MD, Aunt Delores (James) Foster of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Aunt Peggy Colbert of Harpers Ferry, WV, Uncle Daniel D. Jackson, Jr. of Harpers Ferry, WV, Aunt Lorraine (Clarence) Stanton of Harpers Ferry, WV, Uncle William "Mickey" (Linda) Jackson of Westerville, OH, Aunt Frances Ware of Alexandria, VA, Uncle Don (Olivia) Jackson of Clinton, MD, Aunt Karen Jackson of Alexandria, VA, Aunt Christine (Felix) Jenkins of Sanger, WV, and Uncle Jim Hymon of Scarbro, WV.
Carly was the granddaughter of the late Daniel D. and Mary F. Jackson of Harpers Ferry, WV; and the late Willard and Alice Hymon of Scarbro, WV, and the niece and Goddaughter of the late Linda M. Jackson of Oxon Hill, MD.
Carly leaves to mourn a host of cousins and friends.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the First Zion Baptist Church, 1030 West Ridge Street, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, followed by the funeral services beginning at 11 a.m., Rev. Dr. James H. Foster, officiating.
Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, WV.
Repast will be at the Bolivar Community Center, Bolivar, WV.
