Caroline Sue Longerbeam, 80, of Charles Town, WV passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Care Haven Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born April 5, 1944  in Portsmouth, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Elwood Mowery.

She is survived by husband of 32 years, Kenneth "Richie" Longerbeam; three daughters, Tina Linvengood of Glen Rogers, WV, Sherry Wagner of Rockview, WV, Melanie Scarlett of Ranson, WV; three sons, John Scarlett, Jr. of Poolsville, MD, Richard Scarlett of Hagerstown, MD, Justin Scarlett and wife, Brittany of Kearneysville, WV; sixteen grandchildren, Kayla and husband, Dylan of Hedgesville, WV, Dianna, Ashley, Jason, Tiffany, Christopher, Misty, Stephanie, Pamela, Shawn, Kevin, Kiersten, Steven, Michael, Jr., Laurel, and Kolton; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phyliss, Angie, and Kathy; one brother, Denny; father-in-law, Kenneth Longerbeam; Sister-in-law, Sharon and husband, Julio Valenciana; and brother-in-law, Timmy Longerbeam.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Deanna Devlin, and Baby Girl; one son, Mark Scarlett; one granddaughter, Nicole; two grandsons, Scotty and, Seth; four brothers, Rick, Jack, Tom, Roger; and mother-in-law, Jeannette Longerbeam.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
