Carolyn Jeanne Schultz, 81, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Hospice of the Panhandle, in Kearneysville, WV.

Born on October 16, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Andre Henry Valquet and Mary Leah Faye Ennis. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater.

Carolyn earned her Bachelors in theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH, and was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.

She is survived by five daughters, Cheirie Hardy (David), Carolyn Schultz (Denise), Christiana Striebeck (Matt), Colleen Nagy (James), Carrie Dylewski (Craig); ten sons, Jeffrey Schultz (Connie), Jason Schultz (Sheila), Jared Schultz (Anita), Jeremy Schultz (Jennifer), Jesse Schultz (Adaia), James Schultz (Evelyn), Joseph Schultz, John Paul Schultz, Justin Schultz (Angelica), Jerry Schultz; a multitude of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; one brother, John Ralph Valiquet (June); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant grandson, Jesaiah; and one brother, Andre Francis "Buster" Valiquet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV 25414. Interment will follow  in St Peters Cemetery at Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a Vigil of Rosary starting at 7:30 P.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
