Cathy Rae Soelberg, 67, of Harpers ferry, WV, passed away on June 28, 2026, at home.

Born on April 23, 1959, in Hamilton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Gill. She was of the Christian Faith.

Cathy was an avid photographer, especially of wildlife. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Nels, at home; one daughter, Christina; and one son, Jason.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Flynn “Puggy”.
