Charles David Fuller, 76, of Charles Town, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Shenandoah Center in Charles Town, WV.
Born August 5, 1934 in Westerville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Leslie Bartholamew Fuller and Halcyon Mary Sayre Fuller.
He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town, WV.
Charles retired from the National Security Agency as a communications engineer. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a life member of Kiwanis International and served as WV District Governor of the Kiwanis in 2000 and also served as the District treasurer until his death. He was a member of the American Legion, Forty and Eight, Sons of the American Revolution, and the Harpers Ferry Civil War Round Table.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Penny Fuller, at home; one son, Joseph Keating of Shepherdstown, WV; one daughter, Kristen Pauchnik and husband, Dr. Brian Pauchnik of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Jerry Fuller of West Jefferson, OH and Jack Fuller of West Palm Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Colin and Lucy Pauchnik and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Dean, Bart and Richard and one sister, Mary.
A funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10:00 am at the St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV.
