Charles "Chuck" Baughton Holmes, 56, of Charles Town, WV passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born September 18, 1964 in Leesburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late William Holmes and Beulah Annabelle Church Holmes.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Chuck was employed by William A. Hazel Inc. in Chantilly as a driller in the blasting department, with 34 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Shelly, at home; one son, Connor and fiance' Kaity Foster of Martinsburg; one sister, Brenda  McDavid, two brothers, Joe Holmes and Donnie Holmes, special nephew, Robert Holmes and wife, Janell, parents-in-law, Wayne and Connie Hardy, brother-in-law, Travis Hardy and wife, Amy, niece and nephew, Izzy and Ian Hardy, faithful K-9 companion, Loki and numerous cousins and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Thomas Hoffmaster officiating.  Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 pm.

Pallbearers will be Connor Holmes, Travis Hardy, Thomas Ashbaugh, Stevie Lillard, Robert Holmes, Matthew Harris, Kyle Athey, and Kevin Ramey.
