Christopher Michael Gaskins, 53, was born in Charles Town, WV to Stephen Phillip Williams and the late Joan Lee Gaskins on April 6, 1972. Chris was a man of God, devoted husband, role model of a father, and a respected friend by many.

He cherished the family he built with his beloved wife of 30 years, two sons, and grandchildren.

Chris was a member of Kingdom Life Cathedral Ministries. He was passionate about trucking and would later own and operate with his son, known as Gaskins Services. Chris enjoyed family vacations, taking long scenic drives, hosting cookouts, and setting his block-buster fireworks for the 4th of July.

Chris departed from Earth side, Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 after a brave battle with cancer.

He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Teresa, children, Damian Jordan and Darren Michael (Franchezka) and grandchildren, Aviary and Jabari who lovingly called him Pop-pop of Ranson, WV, Brother: Brian Gaskins of Hagerstown, MD; sisters: Dawn Mitchum (Ozell) of Boyds, MD, Courtney Williams of Takoma Park, MD, Candy Gaskins of Ashburn, VA, Stephanie Williams of Martinsburg, WV as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother: Joan Lee Gaskins; his grandparents: Roger and Katherine Gaskins, Lynnwood and Sadie Williams.

A funeral service will be held on May 24, 2025, 1:00 PM at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Bishop Sterling V. Porter III officiating.

The family will receive friends May 23, at the funeral home 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and one hour prior to the funeral.
