Christopher Robert Marsh, 51, of Martinsburg, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born April 24, 1970 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Robert Marsh and Rachel Ylen Marsh.

He was a member of Covenant Church in Shepherdstown.

Chris obtained a Masters Degree in Social Research from Marshall University and had a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Shepherd University.

He loved to be with his friends and was a faithful friend. He enjoyed music, cats, bonfires, camping, satire, parodies and sociology.  He was self taught in web design, computer coding and was proud of his 13 years of being a web design professional. He loved Jesus as his Savior. He struggled with Asperger's syndrome and focused on advocacy and research of this condition.

He is survived by one aunt, Lilly Strom and husband, Bill; one uncle, Wayne Ylen and wife, Jan; five cousins, Dorothy Scharff, Kristen Barnett, Laura Davis, Todd and Wendy Ylen.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Marsh.

Services will be held Saturday, February, 5, 2022 at 11:00am at Covenant Church, 7485 Shepherdstown Pike, Shepherdstown, WV.
