Clifton Nathaniel Peacher, 77, of Charles Town, WV passed away February 28, 2025 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born July 10, 1947 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Earl Clifton Peacher and Mary Gray Peacher.

He retired from Capitol Cement.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Charles Town, WV.

Clifton was a member of Malta Lodge No. 80  A. F.  & A .M. in Charles Town and a lifetime member of  Moose Lodge No. 948 in Charles Town.

Clifton was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School, Class of 1965 and was the only student to "letter" in all four sports. He was an avid golfer and gin player. In earlier years, he loved to play fast-pitch softball.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sandra, at home, two daughters, Angy Chrisman and husband, Buck of Shenandoah Junction, WV and Melissa Kriss and husband, Aaron of Summit Point, WV, four grandchildren, Kenzie Viands and husband, Elijah, A.J. Kriss and wife, Kyleigh, Preslee Kriss and Macie Chrisman, one great grandson, Grayson Viands, one brother, Allen Peacher, brothers and sister-in-law, Harold and Linda Sencindiver and Gary and Delores Sencindiver and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Duane Jensen officiating.

Interment will follow in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
