Connie Ann Tyrrell, 80, of Charles Town, WV passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Hosice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born May 13, 1944 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late David Snyder and Luella Philpott Snyder.

Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Charles Town Ward.

She had retired from the US Government with over 30 years of service.

Connie enjoyed researching ancestry and had indexed over 120,000 names.

She is survived by three sons, David Allen Tyrrell and wife, Laurel, Charles Michael Tyrrell and wife, Kellie and James Andrew Tyrrell and wife, Ashley, four grandchildren, Devon, Tristen, Brittnie and Stephanie, four step-grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, Gordon and Lydia and two great-grandchildren, Zoey and AvaLee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Virginia Snyder, infant sister, Tiny Irene Snyder and one brother, Charles Snyder.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Charles Town Ward, 343 Carriage Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV with Bishop John Miles officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm and one hour prior at the church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the General Missionary Fund for the  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Hospice of the Panhandle.
