Craig Fitzgerald Stephenson, 56, of Charles Town, West Virginia transitioned from this life on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Craig was born on October 23, 1965, in Winchester, VA. He was the son of Anna Stanton Stephenson and Dabney H. Stephenson, Sr.

He was of the Christian faith and was employed by West Virginia (WVU) Medicine Berkeley Medical Center. Prior to his illness, he served as Unit Secretary of the Emergency Department for over eight years.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Stanton Stephenson of Charles Town, WV, and father, Dabney H. Stephenson, Sr. of Winchester VA,  six sisters, Mikell "Renee" Weatherton (Michael), Anita M. Walker (Herb), Jenelle L. Ferguson (Henry), Amanda Forte, Joi Stephenson, Toi Stephenson and four brothers, Dabney H. Stephenson, Jr. (Kathy), Troy C. Stephenson, David Stephenson, Chato Stephenson, aunt, Sylvia Stanton Gregory and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister Jeri L. Stephenson, nephew Blake P. Stephenson and both maternal and paternal grandparents,

Craig was an avid gardener, "chef", and loved music especially smooth jazz. One of his greatest joys was creating new recipes from his personal garden and sharing them with family and friends. He was known for having the best "Coors Light" Christmas tree.

Services will be held at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Friday, December 10, 2021. The viewing starts at 10 am followed by the service at 11 am, with Rev. Karin Regusters officiating. Grave site services will be at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens 2938 Charles Town Road, Kearneysville, WV.

For precautionary COVID concerns, there will not be a public repast.
