Dale Lynn Horensky Coyle, 66, of Harpers Ferry West Virginia, passed away on January 9, 2025.
Dale was born on February 4, 1958, in Limestone, Maine while her father was stationed at Loring Air Force Base, one of the largest bases of the U.S. Air Force's Strategic Air Command. In Dale's early childhood she also lived in Morocco, where her father was also stationed.
During Dale's early life, most of her time was spent in Beach Haven, New Jersey. Dale's grade school years were spent in North Plainfield, New Jersey, after which, she attended and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University. During her adulthood Dale relocated to the Washington D.C./Virginia area for work, and eventually moved to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
Most of Dale's corporate career was spent at AT&T in the Washington D.C. area. While not working Dale enjoyed caring for her four-legged children as well as going on cruises with her husband John.
Dale exuded a warm and welcoming personality to all that met her. She was kind to all that crossed paths with her.
Dale is survived by her husband, John Patrick Coyle, at home, two nephews, Reed William Horensky in Washington DC and Dustin Edward Horensky in Beach Haven, New Jersey, sister-in-law, Georgiann Horensky in Beach Haven, New Jersey and numerous cousins and close friends.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents Edward John Horensky and Doris Mae Horensky (Messler), as well as her brothers, Kurt Alan Horensky and Scott Eric Horensky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, West Virginia, with Father Timothy Grassi as Celebrant assisted by Deacon Dave Galvin. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 A.M. prior to Mass. A celebration of life will also be held later this year in Beach Haven New Jersey.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Oncology Department at Valley Health Winchester Medical Center in Winchester Virginia. They'd also like to thank our friends and family for their support and prayers over the last 2 years.
