David Lee Embrey, 79, 0f Martinsburg, WV passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born September 17, 1943 in Middleburg, VA, he was the son of the late George and Della Embrey.

David was a member of Mission Tabernacle Holiness Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Judy Cooper of Winchester, VA and Bonnie Gant of Martinsburg, WV; two sons, Ronald Embrey of Loris, SC and David Embrey of Fayettville, NC and his faithful K-9 companion, Sugar.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Grace, one daughter, Mary Morris and numerous sisters and brothers.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Paul Markee officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
