Debra "Debbie" Martin, 69, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on January 6, 2026, at the Hospice of the Panhandle, Kearneysville, WV.

She was born on June 20, 1956, in Charles Town, WV.

She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a guiding light to all who knew her. For 47 beautiful years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Gregory Martin, treasuring every moment by his side. Debbie adored her children and grandchildren beyond measure, finding her greatest joy in family gatherings, shared laughter, and the simple gift of togetherness.

A caring soul with a generous heart, Debbie was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer sound, motherly advice to anyone in need. Her compassion, kindness, and steady presence touched countless lives. Her recent embrace of the Catholic faith was a journey that brought her immense peace and fulfillment, and she especially cherished attending Saturday Mass with Greg, deepening their shared spiritual life. She was a member of The Roman Catholic Parish of St. James The Greater.

A truly remarkable woman, Debbie will be deeply missed. Her warmth, wisdom, and love will continue to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion is a timeless gift that will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Margaret Clipp.

Her memory is lovingly carried on by her husband, Greg Martin; her children, Douglas Anders (partner, Michelle Alexander), Chadwick Anders, Christopher Anders (wife, Leslie), and Jennifer Dunkin (partner, Jason Horton). She was a proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren: Alexis (husband, Branden) Newcome, Caitlin Anders, Brigette Anders, Becca Dunkin, Conner Anders, Hannah Anders, Tyler Dunkin, Sara Anders, Jewels Dunkin, Aiden Anders, and Colt Dunkin.

She also leaves behind her siblings, Sandra Clipp, Ronald (wife, Kathi) Clipp, and Gary (wife, Joann) Clipp; her best friend of 49 years, Dorothy Kelly; and her beloved dog, Gabby.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV, with Father Timothy Grassi as Celebrant, assisted by Deacon Dave Galvin.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with a vigil and rosary at 7:30 P.M.
