Dennis Eugene Crawford, Sr., 71, of Charles Town, WV passed away September 6, 2025 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born March 19, 1954 in Charles Town, WV, he was then son of the late Virginia Milburn.

He was a member of Silver Grove United Methodist Church.

Dennis was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1972 and attended James Rumsey Technical Institute, where he earned his welding credentials. He retired from Millville Quarry after 48 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cindy, at home, one son, Dennis Jr. and wife, Becky, of Charles Town, WV, one grandson, Michael and wife, Larissa, one great grandson, Raylan, one great granddaughter on the way, one sister, Tonja Shank, two brothers, Jeff Hetzel and Eric Hetzel and wife, Missy and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mick Hetzel and Kevin Hetzel, maternal grandparents who raised him, Burt and Bessie Crawford and step-father, Paul Milburn, Jr.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Howard Martin and Pastor Mike Lida officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Lutheran Cemetery in Bolivar, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6-8 pm.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Crawford, Jr., Michael Crawford, Terry Jack, Noah Wines, Donnie Mumaw, Jr. and Scott Crawford.
