Dennis Wayne Long, 59, of Kearneysville, West Virginia passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson,WV.

He was born June 26, 1963 in Ranson, West Virginia and was the son of the late James Long, Sr. and Ethel Dillow Long.

He was of Christian faith.

Dennis is survived by three sisters, Lou Poole and husband, Bob, Kay Warner and Sterling McDowell and Tina Wildman and husband, Dan; four brothers, Jimmy Long, Sam Long and wife, Bonnie, Pat Long and Clara Marple and Roger Long and wife, Sharon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two, sisters, Pam Price and Florine Lake; one brother, Greg (Gigi) Long and one niece, Misty Barron.

Services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 11:00 am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 with Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating.

The family will receive friends on  Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
