Dolores Stella Murray, 93, of Ranson, WV, went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence.

Born March 23, 1929 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Burrows and Stella Blair Burrows.

She was of the Christian faith.

Dolores loved hosting family gatherings, where she adored watching her grandchildren play. She also enjoyed vacationing in Rehoboth Beach.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Adkins, at home; four grandchildren, David Hartman, Debi Simmons, Pete Adkins and Joseph Dean,  great- grandchildren, Timothy,  PJ, Micaela, Cody, Vallery, Kaylie, Joshua, Cheyenne, Natalee, Sage and Zoe, great-great grandchildren, RJ, Waylon,, Isiaac, Wyatt, and McKenzie, two sisters, June McIntyre and Frances Melton and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ross Murray, one son, Melvin Dean, two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 6-8 pm.
