Donald Eugene Dillow, Sr., 81, of Charles Town, WV passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born August 19, 1945 in Harpers Ferry, WV, he was the son of the late George Dillow and Jessie Engle Dillow.

He was of the Methodist faith. Donald retired from both Fairfax and Loudoun County Schools with over 29 years of service. He was a member of the Charles Town Moose Lodge #948.

He was an avid WVU fan and loved spending time with people.

He is survived by his son, Donald Dillow, Jr. and wife, Tracee of Charles Town, WV, and two granddaughters, Dakota and Ariel Dillow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley in 2021, one grandson, Donavon Dillow, one brother, David Dillow and one sister.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
