Donald "Donnie" Eugene Dennison, 83, of Charles Town, WV passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his residence.

Born October 11, 1938 in Charles Town, WV, he was the son of the late John William Dennison and Anna Mae Mobley Dennison.

He was of the Christian faith.

Donnie was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School, Class of 1958. He retired from the Bureau of Printing and Engraving in 1998. Donnie enjoyed his family and friends more than anything.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lorna, at home; two daughters, Aletha "Lee" Courtney and Tracey Dennison; one son, Dwayne Scott Dennison; six grandchildren, Cheryl Brown and husband, Dennis, Jazzmin and Kayla Merriman, Matt, Jacob and Josh Dennison, three great- grandsons, Trajon Brown, Justin Hopkins and Conner Dennison.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Robert Courtney and Joey Ranalli.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Frank James officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 6-8 pm.
