Donald Clarence Kinley, 94, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Veterans Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born August 30, 1929 in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late Grover Clarence Kinley and Mary Metzler Kinley.

He is of the Christian faith.

Donald was a US Navy Veteran, retiring as Chief Petty Officer. He later retired from the CIA after 17 years of service. He often made the statement that he would rather work than eat.

He is survived by three son, James Kinley of Middleway, WV, Terry Kinley and wife, Marcia of Frederick, MD and William Kinley and wife, Rachel of Bunker Hill, WV, seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Heather, Travis, Trevor, Michael, Arian and Mariah, 13 great-grandchildren, Blake, Bryce, Beale, Burke, Carter, Mike, Jr., Joel, Eli, Kai, Valerie, Tylor, Alex and Dezire.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Shirley in 2019, one son, LeRoy Kinley, one sister and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Chaplain Eric Verhulst officiating. Interment will be in Middleway Masonic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
