Donald Thomas "Tommy" Ott, 70, of Charles Town, WV, departed this life at home, surrounded by his family, on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Born November 30, 1953 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Charles 'Buddy" Thomas Ott and Jane Staubly Ott.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

Tommy retired from the Ayer's Corporation after 35 years of service.

He was a die-hard Redskins, WVU, Orioles, horse racing and WWF Wrestling fan. His grandchildren were the center of his world.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Barbara "Bobbi" Ott, at home, one daughter, Donna Ott and fiance', Todd Kidwell of Charles Town, two grandchildren, Michael "Blade" Stillions, Jr. and Addison 'Buttercup" Kidwell, his faithful K-9 companion, Clover, three sisters-in-law, Lynn Warnick, Beverly Ryan, Pamela Eddy, one brother-in-law, Jimmy Ryan, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Frances "Granny" Staubly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Dickie "Whistle" D'Angelo officiating.

Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024  from 6-8 pm.
