Donna Faye Thompson, 61, of Charles Town, WV passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Berryville, VA.

Born June 1, 1962 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Elizabeth "Pat" Thompson and Orville Thompson Jr. of Charles Town, WV.

She was a member of Charles Town Baptist Church.

Donna had a successful career as Program Manager and retired from Verizon.

She was a member of Communication Workers of America, Charles Town Moose Lodge No. 948 and Pythian Sisters, Shenandoah Temple 131.

Donna enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts and loved music.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Pamela Kay Coletta, her brother, Kevin Orville Thompson, five nieces, April Paavola, Jennifer Thompson, Emily Thompson, Kaytlyn Coletta and Avery Coletta, two nephews, Christopher Coletta and Wyatt Coletta and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elmer and Blanche Ott and paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Orville Thompson, Sr.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Brian Hotaling and Fr. Timothy Grassi officiating.
