Donna Rae Thompson, 64, of Kearneysville, West Virginia passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Hospice of the Panhandle, IPF in Kearneysville.

Born January 1, 1957 in Ranson, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James and Carra Brackett Thompson.

She was of Pentecostal faith.

Donna is survived by a daughter, Wanda Orr and husband John of Kearneysville; two grandchildren Cody Myers and Amber Orr; three sisters, Vonnie Mae, Betty Jane Painter and Phyllis Grim; four brothers, James (Jimmy), Thomas (Tommy), Robert and Todd Thompson; longtime companion James (Woody) Hough and several nieces and nephews.

Donna Rae adored her cats and was a fantastic cook. She loved to care for people however she could, as was evident in her previous dedicated care of her son-in-law's mother.

Services will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00am, at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
