Doris "Sis" Lorraine Grove Wilt, 93, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Commonwealth Senior Living Center in Berryville, VA.

She was born March 9, 1929 in Brunswick, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Howard Thomas Grove, Sr. and Constance Marie Edwards Grove.

Sis was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School, Class of 1948. She worked at Whitmore Lumber Company in Charles Town from 1948 to 1960.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey L. Wilt and longtime companion Nancy Craun of Shepherdstown and David T. Wilt and wife, Angela of Charles Town.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester T. Wilt and brother, Howard T. Grove, Jr.

Services and burial will be private.
