Doris Jean Stewart, 74, of Kearneysville, WV, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born October 7, 1946, in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Cogle and Thelma (Grove) Cogle.

She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Doris enjoyed having all of her family together at her home; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved being at "Memaw's" dinner table.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Timothy Stewart of Kearneysville, WV, two daughters; Alta May Dinterman and husband, Nathan, and Malesa Kriss and husband, Dewey, two sons; Timothy Allen Stewart, Jr. and wife, Kelly, and Chris Stewart and wife, Aryn, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister; Lucille Waters and husband, Raymond, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Cogle, and sister, Juanita Buzzard.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 6-8PM at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 11AM, at Bakerton Tabernacle Pentecostal Church with Pastors Ronnie Nick and Danny Nick officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.
