Dorothy Ann Ford, 80, of Ranson, WV passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born August 21, 1942 in Halltown, WV, she was the daughter of the late Abe Longerbeam and Anna Edwards Longerbeam.

She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Dorothy was owner and operator of Mum's Liberty Street Carry-Out. She was an avid Bingo player who also loved to garden and cook. She was very family-oriented, loving vacations to the beach with them.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard Eugene Ford of Charles Town and Randy Scott Ford of Ranson, six grandchildren, Kimbi, Richard "Buck" Jenifer, Joseph, Michael and Kortney, seven great-grandchildren, Marcus, Ava, Caden, Kylie, Micaiah, Cohen and Bryan, Jr. and sister-in-law, Ellen Mae Ruffner (Luis).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, in 2018, three daughters, Lori Estevez, Christine Stotler and Sue ford, one grandson, Ronald Turner, Jr., one great-grandson, Dominic Estevez, one sister, Thelma Bayles and one brother, Buddy Longerbeam.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Dr. Mason Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
