Dorothy 'Katie" Kay Torres, 57, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her residence.

Born September 16, 1966 in Leesburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Gerald David Huffman and Patricia Ann Wilson Huffman.

Katie was a member of Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church.

Katie accomplished her dream of having a large family and publishing her book.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 37 years, Jorge, at home, one daughter, Isela "Izzy" Torres of Harpers Ferry and one son, Jorge "JJ" Torres of Harpers Ferry, siblings, Debra Cooper and husband, Rick and Gerald David Huffman and wife, Cortney, nephews, Gary and Grayson, nieces, Nikki, Stephanie, Zoe and Sadie, and grandchildren, Dasia, Myla, Jonan, Mattox, Abby, Lilly, Emma, Bree, Josslyn, Olivia, Ethan, Jaiden, Brayden, Mikayla, Rylee, Tye and Levi.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Thomas Hoffmaster officiating. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
