Duane Frederick Roberson, 68, of Charles Town, WV passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born August 21, 1954 in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of the late Warren Frederick Roberson and Virginia Johnson Roberson.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Duane was a veteran of the US Army.

He was a retired lineman for Dominion Power with 30 years of service. He continued for 13 years at Blue Ridge Community College re-establishing and instructing the lineman program.

He is survived by his wife of over 28 years, Kirsten, at home; one daughter, Rebecca Roberson; one son, Jason Frederick Roberson and wife, Amanda; two grandsons, Campbell and Coehen, faithful K-9 companion, August "Auggie", one sister, Diane Alderton, one brother, Darryl Roberson, Uncle Wayne Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Elias Willis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm and two hours prior to the service on Friday.

Interment will be held in Fairfax Memorial Park.
