Eddy Chumley, 80, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Thursday, July 22, 2023 in Charles Town, WV.

Born April 22, 1943 in Kentucky he was the son of the late Dorothy Bradley and Horace Chumley, and was raised by Gracie Chumley as his honored mother.

Eddy was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He was a member of Faith and Friends Global Methodist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Strahim and husband Jason, of Harpers Ferry, WV; one son, Eddy Dean Chumley, of Libby, MT; four grandchildren, Brittany Chumley, Jeremiah Chumley, Joshua Chumley, and Lauren Fraser; six great-grandchildren, Joey Chumley, Elena Chumley, Tristan Chumley, Morgan Chumley, Gabe Chumley, Jocelynn Karoline Chumley, Hanah Watson, and Hunter Watson; three sisters, Linda Hamilton, Debbie Mulligan, and Janet Rivgera; three brothers, Bill, Jimmy, and Kenny Chumley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Chumley.

Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bill Rowley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith and Friends Global Methodist Church.
