Edgar Vincent Cook, 86, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown, WV.

He was born May 29, 1936 in Martinsburg, West Virginia and was the son of the late Edgar Cook and Elsie Cogle Cook.

He was of Christian faith.

Vince was an avid Washington Redskins Fan, and loved to travel and camp. He loved his family, and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Staubs and Marie Rogers; one brother, Teddy Cook and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bette Cook; one sister, Linda Staubs; four brothers, Wayne, Doug, Ray, and Lyle Cook.

Services will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Mike Lida. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Garden in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
